Middle School OVERVIEW
Urban Collegiate Academy Middle School (UCA Middle School) will create a secondary public school choice for students in grades 6-8. Aligned with KDE 1. Small School of Choice, UCA Middle School anticipates serving 288 students which equates to 96 students per grade level. UCA Middle School will be approximately half the size of any Schenectady middle school.

- 90 minutes of daily English & Mathematics
- Experimental science labs
- Academic Electives: Physical Education, Technology, and Visual ArtsÂ
- Dedicate School Counselor and Youth Development Coordinator for each cohort
- Daily advisory period focused on social-emotional and youth development
- Extended Learning & Engagement Program
